Olecranon Fracture Fixation

The olecranon is the bony prominence of the elbow. It is positioned directly under the skin of the elbow without much protection from muscles or other soft tissues. An olecranon fracture is a very common elbow fracture among adult patients.

In this video, Professor Munjed Al Muderis takes you through the repair and fixation of an olecranon fracture. For more information on elbow fracture surgical interventions please see Elbow Intercondylar Fracture Surgical Procedure
